Nebraska Total Care could face penalties concerning payment claims
Nebraska is describing the performance of one company in charge of state Medicaid services as ongoing and having serious deficiencies.
Currently, Nebraska Total Care (NTC) is facing possible penalties and sanctions.
The Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS) deputy director says it's because of payment claims to the company's CEO.
NTC could face a $25,000 penalty for each failure determined by DHHS.
The company is required to submit a Corrective Action Plan by Friday.
