Police: Man arrested for setting woman on fire
MILFORD, Neb. —
A man is behind bars in Seward County after deputies said he set a woman on fire in Milford.
The Seward County Sheriff's Office said Milford Volunteer Fire and Rescue arrived at the home where they say a woman had burns on her arms and torso on Thursday.
Deputies said the two were fighting when the man, Jeremy Koch, 37, sprayed the woman with brake fluid and lit her clothes on fire.
According to the Seward County Sheriff's Office, the woman was able to remove the clothes but still suffered burns.
Koch was arrested for first-degree domestic assault, third-degree arson, and use of a weapon to commit a felony.
