Sunday storms cause damage, injuries in Nebraska
Severe weather on Sunday caused property damage and left people injured at Lake McConaughy, according to the National Weather Service in North Platte.
Wind gusts were reported up to 83 mph, resulting in damage to roofs and causing campers to roll over in the area.
Several sightings of funnel clouds were reported in central and eastern Nebraska as severe thunderstorm warnings were issued.
A severe thunderstorm warning was active until 9 p.m. for southeastern York County and northeastern Fillmore County for 60 mph winds and quarter-size hail.
