Gov. McMaster to brief public on potential Hurricane Irma impacts
COLUMBIA, S.C. (WACH) —
The South Carolina Governor's Press Office has announced that Governor Henry McMaster will hold a press conference at 2 p.m.
The purpose of the briefing is to "update the public on Hurricane Irma and its potential impacts on the state," according to the information released by the press office late Sunday morning.
McMaster spoke Saturday about the number of evacuations and personnel available for those evacuating from the SC coast or neighboring states.
