The Blackshirts Going Pale

Weber wraps up Rutgers Running Back Raheem Blackshear on TFL.{ }{ }

Good old coach Diaco reflecting back on what happened to the defense against Penn State. From allowing over 600 yards of offense they just went "swoop" down as the game went on.

It unfortunately hasn't only been one game this season to turn the Blackshirts pale. After 11 games the Huskers defense finds themselves coming in last in three Big 10 categories.

From pass defense efficiency, to only having 14 sacks on the year, plus in total defense allowing nearly 430 yards a game.

But when you factor in three of the last five match-ups being decided by less then two touchdowns, it may not be bad all around for the Blackshirts. The man in charge of them all believes, it's about progress and fixing the little things.

Their may be many new things Husker fans want to see, but Diaco and the blackshirts get one last chance this season to end on a positive note.

Facing Iowa for the annual Black Friday match–up, a game for sure to be more challenging after seeing the Hawkeyes score 55 on Ohio State.
