Barry headlines Lopers honored by MIAA
KEARNEY, Neb. —
UNK senior Michaela Barry closes out her college career as a first–team all–MIAA selection.
Barry led the Lopeshow to 21 wins, the most in a decade, behind 17.9 points per game behind a 40.6 shooting percent from the field, a team–best 25 steals, and did plenty of work on the glass with a 5.3 rebound average. She captained the Lopers with a +20 assist–to–turnover differential and led the Lopers with 83 helpers.
Fellow senior McKenzie Brown rolled with all the hard times at UNK and gets out with a third–team selection after averaging 14.8 points and setting a new school record with 248 three balls.
Alyssa Frauendorfer and Kelsey Sanger are both honorable mention.
