Hastings College finishes in dominating fashion 47–9 over Valley City State. Improving to 3–0 on the season.

I think coach Head called a great game offensively, him and coach Kimura are on the same page," Head coach Tony Harper said. "I'll be honest with you I don't mess with those guys, I trust what they do offensively and I think as the game wore on a little bit we started getting three to four yard gains and then Tahj and Travis and Mark Zeckser got some great runs."

The Broncos finished with 293 yards in rushing and 128 in passing. All but one of their touchdown drives took less than five minutes of possession to complete.

"We just wore them down and were able to extend some drives and that was good to see," Harper continued. "Anthony's going to beat you with his legs, at times he's going to throw the short game extremely well." Harper stated. "Isaiah he's going to try to push the field more vertical at times, he can run a little bit, we got to clean up his reads, but again I think those two guys are going to be battling and you got Livingston who also played good at times today."

The Broncos head into their bye week, then are back on the road at Dakota Wesleyan Sep. 23.
