Hastings College Sweeps Dordt in Weekend Double Header

Hastings College is off to their best start under head coach Jina Douglas. The Broncos haven't lost a game since December 2nd, against number 2 Concordia. Coincidentally the Mustangs are 1st in the GPAC, while HC is in a 3 way tie for 2nd place.

Hastings Broncos on a six game win streak looking to keep it rolling at home against Dordt.

Broncos get started early thanks to a quick pass to Shandra Farmer, fighting through a defender, she puts one in for two.

But Dordt had some tricks of their own, zipping the rock up the court, leading to Ebby Prewitt, knocking in the short ranger.

Broncos looking to answer back, they make the right choice with MacKenzie Willicott, banging one off the back board to score.

Adding triple more to the board, Jordan Johnson seals the deal.

Broncos making an offense attack, send it inside to Tyler Hedlund, fights through the hands to the face and adds a pair to the board.

Dordt staying strong makes a few quick passes over to Chandler Brunsting who takes a gamble outside the arch, and comes through with all three.

But Hastings offense would prevail, Tyler Hedlund turning up the speed, jumps in between two defenders with the one handed lay–up,

The Broncos win a close one over the Defenders. 90–87 HC now 13–6 on the season.
