UNK's first–year head coach Lynn hasn't officially announced a starter, but there's some telling information coming out of the list of names representing UNK at the MIAA Media Day.

Sophomore quarterback Steve Worthing is one of two Loper student–athletes, along with senior defensive lineman Sam Stoltenberg.

Lynn getting his first true taste of life in the MIAA this week, joining the rest of the conference's coaches in Kansas City.

"Me coming into the conference, being new, I'm very excited about being in the MIAA," said Lynn.

There's been a lot of firsts for Lynn at UNK. His introductory press conference, first off–season and recruitment period, first spring game, etc. He's using this "first" as a jumping off point to promote the program league–wide.

"I'm also excited about us bringing in a new system, offense and defensive system to the university, UNK. Not only that, just promoting and selling our program in a positive manner. Most importantly, promote our student athletes and not only that, promote the best division II conference in the nation in the MIAA," said Lynn.

UNK is scheduled to speak at 11:15 a.m. on Tuesday, Aug. 1. It can be viewed live on The MIAA Network or on Facebook. Any questions regarding the quarterback situation should be answered during this session.
