UNK's Tyke Kozeal sat.


His name was never called on draft day. No teams reached out to him to sign him immediately after the draft during the free agency period. Nearly two weeks passed since the first round came to a close.

Good things come to those who wait.

The Sargent native and four–year starter at linebacker getting a chance to tryout with the Philadelphia Eagles this week.

If it all works out for the man who has 604 career tackles in the MIAA, Kozeal can sign a deal with Philly and stay at their rookie camp this weekend, May 12-14.

Kozeal is the 11th Loper to get a tryout or sign a deal with an NFL franchise.
