The St. Paul volleyball program is turning into a pipeline of sorts for Hastings College. Rising Senior Bailey Lukasiewicz is the 3rd Wildcat player in the last two years to take her talents to the Broncos.

Lukasiewicz is considered one of the best libero's in the state. She was an all–conference selection last season, and helped St. Paul to a 32–2 regular season record plus an appearance at the state tournament. Lukasiewicz believes her skills can help Hastings College in their quest for back to back national championships.

"I hope to bring a lot of skills in the back row, and help with the serve receive," Lukasiewicz told NTV. "Just whatever the coach wants me to do, I'm going to do it. I like being aggressive and taking control of the game and not letting other teams make errors. I want to so; I want to have the control."

"She goes for every ball," said her head coach Matt Koehn-Fairbanks. " She brings a lot of energy. She just brings a nice spark to the court all the time. Then her defense has always been great. Her serve receiving has really improved. It's just the total package of what you look for in defensive specialist."

Bailey is one of 3 returning starters for the Wildcats. She'll join the Broncos in the fall of 2018.
