Adams Central boys take trip to Indiana
AXTELL, Neb. —
A summer vacation with stops at Hoosier Gym, the largest high school gym in the United States and the Indiana Basketball Hall of Fame are only some of the visits Adams Central boys basketball got to make over a three–day team–building trip to the Hoosier state.
Head coach Zac Foster and the Patriots started their jaunt through Indiana Monday with a stop at the Milan, Ind. Museum and high school before they got to check out Bankers Life Fieldhouse, home of the Indiana Pacers. They also got a chance to play basketball at Hoosier gym later in the evening.
Tuesday allowed the group a chance to check out Chrysler High School in New Castle, Ind., home of the largest high school gym in the United States, with a seating capacity of 9,314. A quick stop at the Indiana Basketball Hall of Fame ensued before the Patriots swung by the NCAA Hall of Champions. Later on, they paid a visit to Adams Central High School in Monroe, Ind. with the opportunity to play against their fellow namesakes.
Wednesday, the boys get to check out Butler's Hinkle Fieldhouse before heading back to Hastings, Neb.
