Bill Marshall Classic returns to Nebraska State Fair

GRAND ISLAND, Neb. - The second annual Bill Marshall Classic returns to the Nebraska State Fair with the defending NAIA national champions showcasing two days of great volleyball in Grand Island on Friday, Aug. 25 and Saturday, Aug. 26.

Hastings College is welcoming Oklahoma City University, Columbia College, and the College of Coastal Georgia. The NAIA schools are playing a best-of-five format.

Broncos schedule:

Aug. 25, 3:00 PM - vs. Oklahoma City University

Aug. 26, 12:00 PM - vs. Columbia College

Aug. 26, 4:00 PM - vs. College of Coastal Georgia

Joining the Broncos for volleyball in GI are 23 high school teams from across the state competing in preseason jamborees. Each varsity team plays two sets against two other teams.

All matches are free for fans with a paid gate admission for the fair.
