Kearney got a goal in the seventh minute, and another in the 76th minute to knock off North Platte, 2-1, Tuesday night at Kearney High School.

Royce Austen scored the game winner for the Bearcats in the games final minutes.

Matt Munch got Kearney on the board first after running down a great pass from Carson Schwarz and sliding it by Will Phillips in the seventh minute.

North Platte didn't appear to have much offensive fire power, but a fantastic feed from Aroque Bryant got through the defense and Joshua Cauffman ran it down, then withstood three Kearney defenders before splitting two of them with his shot to equalize it at one goal a piece in the 24th minute.

Kearney moves to 11-2 this year, while the Bulldog loss drops North Platte to 7-4.
