McCook volleyball has hit their stride this season after dropping their first match of the season in 5 sets to Hastings High. Since their opening loss the Bison, rattled off 9 wins in 11 games in the ever competitive Class B.

In 8 of those wins McCook swept their opponent. Since then, the Bison have gone 3–3, keep in mind 2 of those losses came at the hands of powerhouse Northwest who sports an 18–2 record. McCook's goal the rest of the season is to keep improving as the year continues.

"I think the big thing is we need to go one game at a time we know we've gotten better," head coach Dennis Troeester said. "We know we have tough teams to play, this tournament got some very good teams in it and some very good programs that have been good."

"We need to know that we can play with the bigger teams because Alliance was undefeated and we were they're first loss," senior Riley Sis said. "So now I think that we know we can play past our ability that we thought we can play we can get a long way during the season."

"We need to work on our serves a lot so we've been doing that a lot," senior Jaden Bryant said. "Digs are another one of our weaknesses so we also try to work on that," Bryant continued. "The team work and being together as friends to just be there for each other has also helped us a lot."

The Bison will be participating in the Lexington Triangular which begins on Thursday.
