Riverside breaks skid, wins first ever semifinal
LINCOLN, Neb. —
Riverside made the Nebraska state basketball tournament each of the last three years, but lost in the semifinals every time.
Friday was different as the Chargers pulled away in the second half to beat defending D2 state champion Mullen, 66-59.
The Chargers play No. 1 Falls City Sacred Heart in the D2 title game at 8:30 p.m. Saturday.
