Kearney Catholic and Garden Plain, Kan. traded scores throughout the second half with Garden Plain (3-0) coming out on top, 39-33, Saturday at Miles Field in Kearney.

These two teams met last year with GPHS handing KCHS its only regular-season loss.

Matt Pauly of Garden Plain had four touchdowns in the second half, including an 81-yard kick return answering a score from Kearney Catholic's Linden Howe.

Kearney Catholic (3-1) returns to their Nebraska C1 slate next week, when they're home to Cozad (1-3).
