Meet the Candidate: Neb. governor says he's not done growing the state

Governor Ricketts files for re-election (Pete Ricketts for Governor)

Governor Pete Ricketts is asking voters to keep him at the state's top spot.

"I'm very excited about all the things we've been able to accomplish as governor. We've been able to control our spending. We've worked on tax relief every year. We've increased the property tax relief by over 45% and we've continued to work on developing people and running government more like a business," said Ricketts.

The governor said he wants to continue to grow the state.

He's running against Krystal Gabel in the primary election.

Democrats Tyler Davis, Bob Krist and Vanessa Ward are also running.
