Man turns self in to police for Omaha shooting death


    OMAHA, Neb. (AP) — Omaha police say a man wanted in the shooting death of another man over the weekend has turned himself in to authorities.

    Police say 25-year-old Wallace Hubbard turned himself in Thursday morning to Omaha Police Central Headquarters. Hubbard was booked on suspicion of first-degree murder and a weapons count in the Sunday night shooting death of 28-year-old Robert Williams Jr.

    Police were called to Creighton University Medical Center-University Campus a little before 10 p.m. Sunday after Williams arrived at the hospital. Police say he died after he was transferred to another hospital in Omaha.
