AXTELL, Neb. — Firefighters say nobody was hurt when a vehicle fire broke out on an Axtell farm on Friday morning.
Officials said a truck caught fire just south of Highway 6 near Axtell at around 10 a.m. They said the fire was contained to just the cab, which they had under control within minutes.
They also said nobody was inside the truck when it caught fire, but the ignition was on. The truck is considered a total loss, and the cause of the fire has yet to be determined.
