Sheriff: Calves stolen from Lexington area
Eleven black bull calves were stolen from an area northwest of Lexington, according to the Dawson County Sheriff's Office.
Officers say the calves were stolen sometime between mid-August and Oct. 19, and Crime Stoppers is offering a $1,000 reward for information that leads to an arrest.
The calves are worth an estimated $11,000, and they each have a red ear tag with the letter "e" followed by three or four numbers, but the calves were not branded.
