CENTRAL CITY, Neb. — Tickets for Nebraska's spring volleyball match sold out in 52 minutes "the old fashioned way" with paper tickets sold in person at Central City High School.
Capacity is 2,098 at the Bison Activity Dome and a full house is expected.
HOSTING HUSKERS IS 'SEAL OF APPROVAL' AS CENTRAL CITY RISES TO NEW LEVEL
Superintendent Jeff Jensen said only paper tickets purchased at the school will get fans in the game.
Parking lots will open up at 11:45 a.m. around the school.
"We have designated other areas for parking. East of the football field we'll open up that lot there, parking lot to the north will be open as well. Doors will open at 12:30, game time is 2:00. Always follow our social media sites because we've been putting out all kinds of information, clear bag policy, everybody has to have a ticket, can't be StubHub and we'll have support staff out manning everything," Jensen said.
Husker volleyball will face Wichita State.
For the second consecutive year, the Huskers' spring match will be televised statewide on Nebraska Public Media and streamed online on B1G+. In addition to television and streaming coverage, the match will air on select Huskers Radio Network affiliates and the official Huskers App.
This will be the Huskers' first trip to Central City and will be the eighth different town in Nebraska to host the spring volleyball match.
Last year, Nebraska played in Grand Island at the Heartland Events Center, where the Huskers beat Kansas, 3-1, in front of a sold-out crowd of 6,117.
