Preaching to play without fear of failure

Scott Frost and the Nebraska coaching staff are preaching the importance of playing without fear during spring ball and summer workouts.

"You're never as strong until you've been through some hard things," Frost said at the Big Ten Media Days.

Big Red is hopeful flying to the ball and making plays with a loose abandonment results in overall improvement for individuals and more Husker victories in 2018.

"I think if you fail enough, you either cash in your chips, or you get to a point where you're not afraid of it, and that's how I want my players to play," said Frost.

Frost says he felt Nebraska played a little too concerned with making a mistake last year, rather than utilizing their instincts and athleticism. Expect Nebraska to take more chances on both sides of the ball this fall.
