Repetition should sort out quarterback depth chart

With Tanner Lee moving on, the starting quarterback position at Nebraska is once again up for grabs.

Many are anxious now to see whom head coach Scott Frost turns to.

"Guys are going to get plenty of reps in the way we practice, it will probably figure itself out and work itself out usually by the time we get as many reps as we get into spring ball and fall camp, it's pretty obvious to everybody who the best guys are," Frost said.

So as the team heads into spring training, the race for the starting spot is anybody's to take.

"It's going to be a bit like our experience at UCF," quarterbacks coach Mario Verduzco said. "We came in kind of similar situations, a group of quarterbacks who were designed for a different offense and all that sort of stuff you guys know all too well about."

Those repetitions under center start Friday, with the Huskers holding their first spring practice at 6:00 a.m.
