Volleyball Day in Nebraska draws more interest than ticket website can handle

LINCOLN, Neb. — If you had trouble getting tickets Wednesday morning to the highly anticipated volleyball match-ups at Memorial Stadium you aren't alone.

TICKETS FOR NU VOLLEYBALL MATCH-UPS AT MEMORIAL STADIUM ON SALE

General admission sales opened up at 10 a.m. Wednesday. By 11 a.m. Husker Volleyball promised to open up more seats.

"We're experiencing high volume traffic on our ticket site so please be patient," they tweeted.

NTV heard reports of fans in the queue but unable to check out.

The event will be held on Aug. 30, featuring a match between the Huskers and the UNO Mavericks. The UNK Lopers will have an exhibition match against Wayne State before the main event.
