Hype for the Loper hitman

UNK senior slugger Dallas Schramm is pegged as a first–team preseason All–American designated hitter according to the National Collegiate Baseball Writers Association (NCBWA).

Schramm was the Lopers big stick in 2017 with 20 doubles, 13 home runs, 53 RBI, and a .356 average. The Omaha, Neb. (Millard North) product was a 2017 first–team All–American for the American Baseball Coaches Association (ABCA).

In the season opening series at Metro State (Denver, Colo.) Schramm went 2 for 8 with a pair of RBI as UNK split the two games with the Roadrunners.

The Lopers are heading to Arkadelphia, Ark. this week for one game each against a different opponent in four straight days.
