The Nebraska School Athletic Association State Track and Field Championships is a steady part of Nebraska’s rich sports history. Every year, an ever growing number of athletes and fans pour into Burke Stadium- to compete- and support their teammates, children, and community.

But, it’s only made possible by selfless volunteers who dedicate days, weeks, even months of their time. Matt Frieda took some time to hear the stories of some of the State Track & Field volunteers and what keeps them coming back.
