Grand Island Home Federal eases into winner's circle in season opener

Grand Island Home Federal got 11 hits in four innings of work to top DCB 10-0 in five innings.

Home Federal scored multiple runs in three of their four offensive innings, including a five-spot in the third, led by Shay Schanaman's three RBI's.

Schanaman was one of several players with a multi-hit game, along with Cole Evans and Trey Randall. Evans got the win for Home Federal, striking out seven over four innings. Teaming up with Ryan Krolikowski, the two held DCB to one hit in the game.

Grand Island Home Federal plays host to Sutton on Sunday afternoon.
