Coach Kevin Asher and his boys could not have asked for a better start to the 2018 season, with Hastings Five Points Bank still undefeated after the first week of the season allowing no more than one run in six of their first seven games.

Starting off a busy three game weekend with Seward, the team showed no mercy from the get go scoring eight runs in the first inning alone.

One of the biggest contributors to the blow out was Short Stop Connor Laux who led the team with four RBI's off of three hits leading off at the top of the batting order.

While Riley Eckhardt held things down on the mound pitching four innings throwing four strikeouts.

Helping Five Points Bank keep the game short and sweet in baseball time, ending it after five innings defeating Seward 12-1.

The team continues their games through the weekend at home facing Creighton Prep Saturday 3:30 p.m. and Omaha Central Sunday at 12:30 p.m.
