Hastings Tigers win fourth straight over Titans

Over at Duncan Field, the Hastings Tigers hosting the Papillion-LaVista South Titans.

The Tigers looking for their fourth straight win, Titans have other plans, top of the first Ryan Petersen drills one to center field, Tigers get the out, but aren't fast enough to catch Mike McClanahan sliding in to score.

Bottom of the third, Hastings answers back with Mike Boeve nailing the ball into leftfield. Titans lose their grip on it, allowing Connor Laux to round third and sprint his way in to tie it up 1-1.

Papillion La-Vista South would try to take off again, but were stopped cold behind the arm of Tyson Gatto who finished the game with a pair of strikeouts.

Hastings Tigers extend their win streak to four on the season, winning it 5-2, improving to 4-2 on the year.

They're back in action at home Apr. 3. against Seward. First pitch scheduled for 4:30 p.m.
