Natalie Madsen resigns from coaching Kearney Softball

Breaking news Thursday morning coming out of Kearney high athletics, head softball coach Natalie Madsen has resigned from the Bearcats, and will not coach in 2018.

The news first reported by NTV Sports Director Dave Griek.

In her tenure leading the Bearcats, Kearney softball made back–to–back appearances in the state tournament.

Along with capturing the district championship in 2016, plus three GNAC titles.

Madsen closes out her time with the Bearcats with an overall record of 124–83, with three of her six years ending in winning seasons.
