Kyle Kleckner

Meteorologist Kyle Kleckner joins the NTV First Alert Weather Team excited to serve and inform people about the weather and to help ensure their safety if inclement weather occurs.

Kyle is originally from Freeport, Illinois. He attended Dakota Jr/Sr High School and then attended the University of Nebraska-Lincoln where he earned his Bachelor’s degree in Meteorology.

Nebraska receives all kinds of weather throughout the year and Kyle is proud to be forecasting the weather in a climate that is both fun and challenging. With NTV located in the middle of tornado alley, there is no shortage of observing severe weather.

Kyle enjoys playing guitar, golfing, fishing, hiking and storm chasing. Kyle played guitar in the Big Red Express UNL Pep Band. And, although he’s gone storm chasing numerous times in his life, he has yet to see a tornado!
